ILC offers the MaxiMeter solution for the mining field. Maximeter is used to lubricate mining machinery, as it guarantees machine durability and zero downtime.
The range of this monoline system goes from hydraulic to electric solution and centralized distribution to fully automatic grease system that lubricate shaft supports and bearings in large sized machines.
Lubrication systems for mining
ILC lubrication systems applied in these sectors are mainly grease-based and consist of volumetric valves. Powered directly by a single-point, they guarantee lubrication of various machines and a protective shield of grease that helps prevent dust and dirt from entering the bearing, thereby guaranteeing a longer life and efficiency of the vehicle.
All the points can be reached with the centralized volumetric distribution even if located in positions that would be manually unreachable. The installation is very easy, such as the maintenance.
The results derived from the installation of a centralized lubrication systems are:
- increased productivity due to an increase machine life and lower unplanned downtime;
- reduced operating costs, reduced power consumption (less friction), fewer spare parts and less maintenance;
- less wear, regular and automatic, precise metering of lubricant at intervals. Elimination of the risk that some points are lubricated excessively and others are ignored;
- increased safety: the operator doesn’t have to be near areas which are difficult to access, or even dangerous.
